SES Parents, 

 

Greetings! Welcome to Shenandoah Elementary School!  We are so excited to have the opportunity to teach and grow with the children in our Shenandoah school community.  I am excited to be in my 25th year serving the Shenandoah Schools and this amazing community.  I have been blessed to work with some amazing people, and I look forward to each year that I am called to serve in this community. 

 

It’s important that we get off to a good start each year, and that is the responsibility of all who are involved in the educational process, including teachers, administrators, students, parents, and caregivers. Covid-19 has been a consistent negative force on the educational process, and the associated learning loss is a reality for many of our students.  We have learned a lot about delivering instruction online and interacting with students/parents online over the last couple years. It is our hope to continue in-person learning on a consistent basis while also keeping our students/staff safe, and we are doing everything in our power to make that happen.  Our staff has taken these experiences and used them as an opportunity to grow in our profession.  As we grow in this respect, it is our hope that our students will prosper as a result of our perseverance and determination to be successful. 

 

Shenandoah Elementary School allows our students to access many learning opportunities and enjoyable activities.  We believe that every child can learn and should be afforded the most optimal environment to do so. It is our goal and pledge that we will always try to promote the social, academic, and artistic development of our students.  We aspire to promote learning that goes well beyond their school years.
